Bitlbee - IRC to IM Gateway

PenguinTek operates a publicly-accessible Bitlbee gateway.  The gateway listens at segfault.penguintek.net port 6644.  Simply use your favorite IRC client to connect.

PLEASE NOTE: The Bitlbee gateway is NOT a general-purpose IRC server.  It is an IRC-to-IM gateway ONLY.  You will not be able to "see" other users connected to the Bitlbee gateway (unless they are buddies on one of your IM networks.)  You will only see yourself and your IM buddies.  While Bitlbee LOOKS like a standard IRC server, it's not.  It only provides an IRC protocol interface to your IM networks.

If you need help getting started, here is a good QuickStart guide to check out.  Please do not contact us asking for support on using the Bitlbee gateway.  There is enough documentation out there (both on-line and within the gateway itself) to get you up and running.
